Rates are quoted based on single or double occupancy and are subject to 8% Delaware lodging tax. 

Rates for double rooms are based on two person occupancy.  There is a $15 per person charge for each additional person.  Maximum occupancy four persons.

Room Rates are subject  to change without notice.

Deposits

At the time you confirm your reservation, a deposit equal to one night's room and tax will be billed to your credit card.  Guests reserving 7 or more nights will be billed 50% of your total, with the balance due at check in.

Cancellations

We understand that occasionally circumstances may arise which require you to cancel your reservation. Please understand that we are a small Inn whose annual income is highly dependent on our bookings during the High Season. Cancellations within 7 days of your scheduled arrival date severely impair our ability to rebook your room. Cancellations 7 days or more prior to your confirmed arrival date will be refunded your deposit, less a $25 service charge to cover credit card processing. Guests reserving 7 nights or more, must provide 14 days notice to receive a refund. Cancellations within 7 days (or 14 in stays of 7 nights) of your confirmed arrival date will be subject to forfeiture of your deposit.

Check-In and Check-Out

Our check-in time is 3:00 PM. Check-out time is 11:00 AM. We will do our best to accommodate early arrivals and late departures, but please understand that we need adequate time to make sure your room is clean. Therefore, we cannot assure you of an early check-in or late departure. Guests are welcome to enjoy the Living Room, pool, and spa while awaiting check-in. Our office hours are 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Late check-ins are welcome with advance notice.

Children

Our goal at Canalside Inn is to provide a relaxed atmosphere and causal environment for adults. Accordingly, we do not accept persons under 18 years of age.
