Rates are quoted based on single or double occupancy and are subject to 8% Delaware lodging tax. 

Rates for double rooms are based on two person occupancy.  There is a $45 per person charge for each additional person.  Maximum occupancy four persons. Guests exceeding the maximum number of guests will be charged $70 extra per person per night, no exceptions.

Room Rates are subject  to change without notice.

Deposits

At the time you confirm your reservation, a deposit equal to 50% of your stay (100% for a 1 night stay) will be billed to your credit card, with the balance due at check in.

Balance due upon arrival in cash, traveler’s checks or credit card. Best Available rates are 100% prepaid with no refund for cancellation, no changes. No refund for early check out. We cannot accept personal or business checks for payment of balance. If you have placed a deposit by credit card, you must bring your credit card with you along with a form of identification with signature. The same credit card must be used for the balance due. We cannot accept the use of another's credit card under any circumstances.

Cancellations

We understand that occasionally circumstances may arise which require you to cancel your reservation. Please understand that we are a small Inn whose annual income is highly dependent on our advance bookings. Cancellations within 14 days of your scheduled arrival date severely impair our ability to rebook your room. Cancellations 14 days or more prior to your confirmed arrival date will be refunded your deposit, less a $25 service charge to cover credit card processing. Cancellations within 14 days of your confirmed arrival date will be subject to forfeiture of your deposit. Best Available rates are 100% prepaid with no refund for cancellation, no changes.

Check-In and Check-Out

Our check-in time is 3:00 PM. Check-out time is 11:00 AM. We offer late check-outs for $20 per hour beginning promptly at 11:00am or $100 until 6:00pm when available.  Please make arrangements with the front desk for late check-out.  Guests are welcome to enjoy the Living Room, pool, and spa while awaiting check-in. Our office hours are 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Late check-ins are welcome with advance notice.

Children

Our goal at Canalside Inn is to provide a relaxed atmosphere and causal environment for adults. Accordingly, our facility may not suitable for persons under 16 years of age.  Children must be supervised by adults at all time.  Children under 18 are not allowed in the pool and hot tub area at any time.  All persons under 18 must be accompanied by parents or guardians.
